In practice they overlap. Janitorial usually means the recurring work — washrooms, floors, waste, restocking — on a fixed schedule. Commercial cleaning is the broader term and also covers periodic deep work like carpet extraction, floor stripping, and post-construction cleans. We handle both under one contract and one invoice.
